Sarah and Roger
From the moment we saw Clock Barn online, we had a feeling this was “the venue” perfect for a countryside wedding.
The picture on the website of the chairs in a semi-circle for the ceremony really appealed to us. Also, the fact that Clock Barn’s approach was “tell us what you’d like” rather than imposing a wedding package on us, meant we could have the bespoke wedding we wanted. Once we visited Clock Barn it just felt right and it ticked all the boxes for the day we had in mind. Accommodation at the nearby Carnarvon Arms was perfect and we filled all the rooms with our guests.
We didn’t have a theme; we just wanted us, with our friends and family and all of our favourite things in one day. We wanted our relationship to come through on the day. Friends commented how ‘us’ our day was and how welcome and relaxed they’d felt on the day.
As Clock Barn was so stunning, it didn’t need too much thought regarding decoration. We’re not a fussy couple and just wanted to keep it elegant and relaxed with the countryside wedding feel, especially as it was a spring wedding.
